Service Description
The Junior Warrior Training (JWT) program is designed to equip children ages 5-13 with essential life skills, leadership abilities, discipline, and problem-solving capabilities. JWT fosters confidence, resilience, teamwork, and a strong ethical foundation rooted in empathy and service. Through structured hands-on activities, children develop critical thinking skills, adaptability, and a sense of responsibility, preparing them to become future leaders who can positively impact their communities. Significance to Child Development 1. Confidence & Independence – Children gain confidence through challenges that require problem-solving and personal initiative. 2. Resilience & Adaptability – Exercises push mental and physical limits, helping children develop perseverance and the ability to overcome adversity. 3. Leadership & Teamwork – Group activities encourage cooperation, communication, and accountability. 4. Empathy & Ethical Responsibility – Focus on service-based learning and caring for others fosters moral character and compassion. 5. Discipline & Structure – Routine, responsibility, and mission-based tasks teach children self-discipline and focus. 6. Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking – Engaging in real-world scenarios encourages children to assess situations and make sound decisions. Program Structure The course consists of interactive training modules that cover: First Aid & CPR – Basic emergency response and medical aidl skills. Land Navigation/Survival – Map reading, compass use, pace count and orientation and finding a destination. Water Filtration and Shelter Building. Automotive – A hands on course to gain the basics of vehicle care and operational maintenance. Construction – A hands on course to learn tool use and safety to avoid injuries and learn the basics of construction by framing a small house. Community Service & Teamwork – Hands-on projects that allow children to serve others. Physical Fitness & Resilience Building – Age-appropriate endurance and strength training. Ethical Leadership & Decision-Making – Engaging discussions on responsibility and moral integrity. Mission-Based Problem-Solving – Simulated scenarios that require teamwork and strategic thinking.
